I love these Miu Miu sparklers for Autumn/Winter 2011. I am not too keen on the fact that their current model is 14 year old actress Hailee Steinfeld, given that it the line is aimed at grown women however. I'm sure they won't be losing any sleep over my humble opinion though.
Next season's offerings from Miu Miu are whimsical and wearable. These shoes project strength and femininity with the thick, somewhat sturdy heel grounding the frivolity of the pastel colours and glitter. Beauty is always in the eye of the beholder and, for whatever reason, these cartoony confections make my heart go pitter patter. I can imagine a desperately cracked up 1940s housewife/Minnie Mouse wearing them to pop to the shops. I on the other hand might look a bit odd running around the local Centra in them but I willing to give it a go.
